15 May D3 at Brisbane Truck Show 2015
D3 have designed and built for clients at this biennial Truck Show and Truck Shows in general for the best part of 20 years. The D3 projects this year were:
In order to efficiently erect a decent sized rear wall for branding and product information, we chose the versatile Octanorm system for this very narrow but wide 19 metre site. Situated in the concourse outside main Hall 2 at the Brisbane Exhibition Centre where there is a constant stream of passing visitors, the stand design exposed Gough Transport Solutions clearly via digital prints integrated into this walling system that also featured 2 curved branding towers.
Use of large format stretch fabric mural prints was a feature of the Hendrickson stand this year. Erected on substantial 3.8 and 4.6 high custom wall sections, these impactful images supported their ongoing Innovation theme, existing products and helped to pre-launched ZMD technology. Hanging above was a large Hendrickson “H” logo, a laser cut, 3D painted and finished rotating aerial ID. Their Watson and Chalin brand comfortably shared a corner of their large 140 square metre stand.
The Narva stand of 104 square metres, in what is regarded as the less open end of the BCEC main hall, provided a challenge to design an inviting, bright and open display under the restricted 3.7 mtr ceiling. We created the feeling of space and light by building both the custom floor and 3metre high walling in white laminated board. Walls displayed 2.4 square stretch fabric prints with strong lighting from LED spots on arms and general stand lighting from our supplied towers. The D3 designed freestanding interactive touchscreen pods also featured and there was even room for an XL custom body vehicle. Altogether one of the best and largest Truck Show stands we have done for Narva.
